Dusting off Myth Ink Books after a nearly 6 year hibernation….

Not too long after the release of our last work of fiction, “Eldritch Tides,” the world went sideways. In 2020 as readers well know the COVID Pandemic struck, and your editors here, Anthony and Jessica got sick a few times. We had moved to New Jersey to be live in caretakers for a family member, and all of our attention was on family, health and responsibilities. There were plans for further volumes of fiction and essays collections, but like us, everyone involved had their own issues in this time period. We decided it was wise to shelve Myth Ink Books and associated projects.

Now it is 2025, and we are updating this site, our store links and accounts, brushing off the dust and oiling up the gears of creative processes.

We have two announcements to make regarding an event and title to be published by Myth Ink Books this Fall.

Firstly we will be vendors at the Burlington County Library Fandom Fest

Fandom Fest at the Burlington County Library is back after a long hiatus! On Sept, 20, 2025, Fandom Fest, a gathering for pop culture enthusiasts, will be the event to find and embrace your particular passion. From 10 am to 3 pm, fans of everything from D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) to WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), horror to fantasy, will gather to enjoy presentations by guest speakers, play games, shop from vendors and more. At our last event, we had more than 1,000 guests stop by to enjoy the fun. We’re looking forward to doing it again!
This Comic-Con-like event will bring together all types of people to geek out about their favorite things and to learn about other interests.

It looks like it will be ALOT of fun, we will have several titles for sale, and some geeky collectibles. At the time of this writing we do not know where our table will be within the event, but we will make an announcement on social media. So come dressed as your favorite characters, come say hello and have some fun at the Library. You might just find us in dressing gowns and carrying towels.

On August 1st, 2018 just 16 months before the release of Eldritch Tides, there was another publication you may have heard of edited by Jessica and myself. This was a wholly remarkable work by numerous authors called You and 42: The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Douglas Adams.

You and 42 is the latest wholly remarkable book to come out of Who Dares Publishing Corporation. The cover contains large and friendly letters. Unfortunately, Megadodo Publications wouldn’t license ‘Don’t Panic’. There is no reason to panic. There is no Vogon Poetry contained therein. Although, there are some harrowing details about towels, LPs, hitchhikers, and swear words, with only a passing mention of cats. Thor doesn’t make an appearance, much to his regret. You and 42 contains a series of extraordinary stories that are holistically interwoven with one another, stories from authors that aren’t entirely apocryphal, but wildly accurate accounts of their love for Douglas Adams and his work.

We hope it is far more successful than Chitin & You: A Pleasure Guide for Arthropods and better selling than Demetria Blacksmith’s 42 Ways of Towel Wrangling.

While You & 42 is more controversial than Stu Hambone’s Coming to Terms with Your Acidic Secretions and Zaxley Nash’s Taowelism & the Way of Gardening Your Gnome, it begins simply with a frood from a more relaxed civilization: Douglas Adams.

You and 42 was originally published by Who Dares Publishing, which closed a number of years ago. With its closure You and 42 went out of print.
